Canal 13 es un canal de televisión abierta chileno, propiedad del holding TV Medios del Grupo Luksic, y operado por Secuoya Chile. Inició sus emisiones el 21 de agosto de 1959 en la frecuencia 2 VHF de Santiago, en una transmisión liderada por un grupo de ingenieros de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Posteriormente, la frecuencia cambió al canal 13, lo que dio origen a su actual denominación. En sus inicios, uno de sus hitos más importantes fue la transmisión del Campeonato Mundial de Fútbol en 1962, realizado en Chile. En la actualidad, Canal 13 está afiliado a la Asociación Nacional de Televisión, a la Organización de Telecomunicaciones de Iberoamérica, y además es miembro de la Alianza Informativa Latinoamericana y miembro asociado de la Unión Europea de Radiodifusión.
