池州电视台，于1993年4月批准成立，1994年2月1日正式开播。共设办公室、总编室、新闻采访部、新闻编辑部、专题部、文艺节目部、技术播出部、发射台和广告中心九个部室，并代管池州微波站。全台编制65人，现有正式在编人员60人，在岗人员96人（含节目编排、制作、播出及聘用人员），其中高级职称4人，中级职称34人，中共党员34人，属全额拨款全民事业单位。
