奉化市广播电视中心近年来紧紧围绕市委市政府中心工作，围绕广电重点工作和远景目标，坚持正确舆论导向，不断强化硬件设施建设和广电队伍建设，广播电视宣传节目质量逐年提高，营造了良好的社会舆论环境。
目前广播节目日播16 .5个小时，常规节目设置达17档；电视节目日播15个小时，开办了10档节目。《1890百姓热线》、《聊天八只脚》、《娱乐地图》等广播电视栏目成为广大群众爱看（听）的强势栏目。
2005年，广电中心投入500多万元，实现了广播电视采编播设备的非编化、硬盘化、数字化，启用了虚拟演播室。 2005年6月，全市全面实现有线电视“村村通”目标，有线电视用户达13万户。2006年，广电中心投入1000万元实施了有线电视网络改造和有线电视用户普查，大力构建全市三大自愈环网工程。2006年5月，中心获浙江省广播电视农村入户工程建设先进集体称号。中心团委被授与宁波市志愿者服务先进集体，宁波市优秀团组织称号。广播电台节目部荣获宁波市巾帼文明示范岗荣誉称号。2006年，广电综合经济收入突破5000万元，广播、电视广告收入1000余万元。 Nettv
