桐城广播电视台成立于1998年10月1日，位于安徽省安庆市桐城市龙眠中路2号，目前有新闻综合频道，影视频道，生活频道以及桐城交通音乐广播。
桐城市广播电视台座落在市中心广场东侧龙眠路路口处，为市政府直属亊业单位，是我市最重要的主流媒体之一。它的前身是1953年县政府设立的广播收音室，1958年成立桐城县广播站，正式呼号开播半小时自办文字节目。1977年建立桐城县革命委员会广播事业管理局。1979年更名为桐城县广播事业管理局。1984年更名为桐城县广播电视局。同年建立调频广播发射台，播送县站广播节目。1993年7月建立桐城人民广播电台，8月建立桐城电视台。同年广播电视局改为“广播电视服务中心”。1998年，根据中央关于“现有县（市）广播电台、电视台、有线电视台要合并为一个播出实体”的要求，播出机构进行了合并即 “三台合一”，实行局台合一的管理体制，更名为桐城市广播电视局（台）。2010年5月根据文化体制改革的有关精神，将原桐城市广播电视局（台）改为桐城市广播电视台（中心），保留正科级事业单位性质，是受本级党委、政府直属的具有独立法人资格的宣传事业单位。桐城广播电视台（中心）下设办公室、财务科、人事科、社会管理事业科、总编室、新闻中心、专题部、广告部、文艺部、技术播出部、制作部等11个内设机构。 Nettv.live
1993年8月经广电部批准建立，共有新闻、影视、生活3个频道。新闻频道日播出量近16小时，自办节目主要有，《桐城新闻》《周末》《今日桐城》《今日访谈》《影视快车》等。
《桐城新闻》：宣传大政方针，报道市委市政府重大决策，服务经济建设，弘扬精神文明，反映社情民意，传播服务信息。周一至周五19：50首播，21：50和次日11：45重播，每档12分钟。周六周日播出《一周要闻回顾》。
《周末》：弘扬桐城文化， 贴近百姓生活，缤纷荧屏在线，营造休闲空间。本节目分文化版、生活服务版和娱乐版，挂名轮换播出。周六19：50首播，21：50和周日11：45重播，每档12分钟。
文化版：弘扬桐城文化，展示旅游风光，反映民风民俗， 传播大众情趣.生活服务版：架起供求桥梁，服务大众消费，传授健康知识， 讲述百姓生活。娱乐版：歌舞戏曲音乐，相声小品杂技，经典通俗同现， 雅俗与您共赏。
《今日桐城》：突出经济中心 展示精神风貌，聚焦新闻热点，推进文明建设。 本节目分经济建设篇、精神文明篇和记者观察篇轮换播出。周日19：50首播，21：50和周一11：45重播，每档12分钟。
经济建设篇：宣传经济政策，报道经济动态，传递经济信息，展示企业风采。精神文明篇：采撷乡野风情，凝结文都精粹，展示新人新事，传播精神文明。记者观察篇：围绕党政中心 ，关注百姓生活，透视社会现象，聚集新闻热点。
《今日访谈》：畅谈发展思路，关注民生焦点，解惑疑点难点，接受群众监督，每周六、日19：50首播，21：50和次日11：45重播，每档12分钟。
《影视快车》最新最快的影视推介，最靓最红的明星阵容，最炫最火的电视剧情，精彩尽在影视快车。每天12：35和19：40播出，每档5分钟。
影视频道2007年初开通，日播出15小时，主要播出影视剧和自办节目《市场直通车》。
生活频道2010年开通，日播出15小时，主要播出旅游类节目、法制栏目、娱乐节目和剧场。
