中央电视台中文国际频道（频道呼号：CCTV-4中文国际），是以播出新闻、文化节目为主要内容的电视频道，于1992年10月1日开播。 1995年，CCTV-4对外正式启用“中央电视台国际频道”（CCTV INTERNATIONAL）呼号。[1-2] 2005年，CCTV-4频道呼号由“中国中央电视台国际频道”改为“中央电视台中文国际频道”。 2007年，CCTV-4开始分频播出，分为亚洲版、欧洲版和美洲版。2015年，CCTV-4（亚洲版）正式实现高标清同步播出。2016年，CCTV-4（欧洲版）高清频道在法国上线。
